Michael Figueroa Joins IXIT Corporation as SVP, Information Security & Technology InfrastructureMarch 13, 2008 (McLean, VA) – IXI Corporation, premier provider of customer segmentation, targeting and market tracking solutions, announced today that Michael Figueroa has joined the firm as Senior Vice President, Information Security & Technology Infrastructure. Mr. Figueroa will be focused on implementing security-related solutions and expanding IXI’s infrastructure to meet the company’s growth requirements. Mr. Figueroa joins IXI with over 13 years of IT consulting and program management experience in enterprise security strategic planning, organizational change management, identity and access management, infrastructure security design, and data warehousing. Most recently, Mr. Figueroa served as an Enterprise Security Program Manager for Booz Allen Hamilton, providing thought leadership and program management to government agencies in the U.S. and Europe, including a system security integration effort for an enterprise-wide infrastructure consolidation effort for one of the largest U.S. federal agencies. Prior to that, he served as an Enterprise Security Architect at American Management Systems supporting several financial industry firms including Citibank, ANZ, Bank of Montreal, and Barclays. Mr. Figueroa is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and holds a B.S. degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Masters of Forensic Sciences (M.F.S.) degree in High Tech Crime Investigations from The George Washington University. He has previously spoken at several conferences, including the RSA Conference, and is an adjunct professor at the University of Virginia and a lecturer at The George Washington University.
